While colourful gadgets are a welcome change to the usual charcoal and black phones and laptop - a pink, purple, or baby blue alternative don't usually tickle my fancy. White alternatives, however, I do love. From the white Blackberry Bold 9700 to the new white Samsung Galaxy S II - a paler gadget has a nice “gender neutral”, professional feel to it.
Now, Three have also jumped on board the neutral-toned bandwagon by offering up a white version of their new MiFi.
The award-winning MiFi is a device that creates your own WiFi hotspot without needing to plug it into your laptop like you would a 3G dongle. But, even better than it’s new, glossy makeover is that the new MiFi features the next generation HSPA+ mobile broadband technology, which means that you can download music and videos, Tweet and browse the web around 50% faster than you could before.

The MiFi's screen displays useful information like how much data you’ve used, how fast your connection is, and how long you’ve been online. The new MiFi also allows you to view SMS messages and change setting on its new dashboard, as well as putting your user name and password on screen so you can pair it faster with your other devices.
I absolutely love the MiFi - the connection has always proved to be incredibly reliable and quick, and it means that (unless you’re underground) you can get online. Perfect for travelling, shooting off an email or checking something online while you're on the go, or if you don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for a 3G tablet.
The new MiFi in white, built by Huawei, will be available in store and online in the coming weeks.
