Pixie Lott Announced as Face of New Nokia Illuvia Range

By Cate Sevilla

Today, two fabulous BitchBuzz readers attended a Secret Gig with Pixie Lott at a Carphone Warehouse on Oxford Street, to celebrate Pixe being the face of the new Nokia Illuvia handset range.

The Illuvia range may not be as geek-tastic as the iPhone or overly complicated like Vodafone 360 devices, but they seem to match Pixie in some weird way. Illuvia and Pixie – they just sound like they go together. Maybe it's all the pink.

Described as being “bright and fun” the handsets are said to demonstrate Pixie’s “expressive and fresh attitude to both her life and her music” and Nokia promise that the Illuvia phones are “a must-have for any handbag this season.”

Hmmm. Try telling that to Vogue.

We actually have the Nokia 6700 illuvial handset at BitchBuzz HQ so we’ll be able to tell you soon what we think of it, but it seems Nokia are definitely trying to be more down with the kids and the ladies, rather than just being down with the N95 fanboy geeks.

Today, when asked if Pixie thought the phones were as stylish as she is, she definitely agreed, and also emphasized how much she loves her Illuvia phone as it’s “how I keep in touch with my family and my Mum when I’m away”.

Pixie also goes on to say that:

“This is a really fun project to get involved in. I spend loads of time on my mobile, so it’s important to me that it looks good. The phones in the range all look fab – they’re stylish and yet still girlie.”

Ah yes, girlie, they are indeed.

Stay tuned for BitchBuzz’s review of the Nokia 6700 Illuvial on BitchBuzz Tech.
