BlogWorldExpo: Monetize! Monetize! Monetize!

A week ago, I visited BlogWorld and NewMedia Expo in Las Vegas. BlogWorld (or BWE as its known) has a special place in my heart: it was the first tech conference I ever went to, way back in 2007, when my career as a blogger and all-around Internet person was just starting and terms like monetization, social media, and SEO were a different language. I knew the definitions, but no...

Over the years, I've come to expect Google's arrogance and their overzealous contextual ads displayed everywhere from my private emails to my RSS feed. I've also come to assume that if their servers go down, that there isn’t anyone I can call, email or Tweet at to complain that they're screwing up my productivity.
