Business Week have announced their list of the 25 Most Influential People on the Web. While the list is incredibly interesting to look over, and there are some fantastic people on the list, such as Loic Le Meur, only four of the 25 people on the list were women. Woo! 16%! Ladies, we are on a roll! Look out Internet, we've got the power!

Abortion, always a hot ticket issue, has become even more in the United States, especially in light of VP nominee's Sarah Palin pro-life - even in the face of rape - stance. In the upcoming election, several states are attempting to limit women's access to abortion, including California, who, once again, is trying to pass a parental notification law, Prop 4. Let's not even get into So...

I was lucky enough to bag a place at the first ever ‘Harvest Twestival’ in London last Thursday. There are many, many posts bounding about the blogosphere praising the team for organising such a successful event that I’m in of full support of, but here’s my two cents. I thought Mike Butcher made a good point by showing the comparison between the

Apparently the McCain camp is so out of touch with the world of technology, that they've never heard of the website Who.is.
Who.is can tell you who registered a URL, on what date, and a bunch of other nifty information. So, clearly, when the McCain campaign registered the URL "www.voteforthemilf.com", they didn't really think that anyone would find out....

Please, just send me out to the firing range and kill me now. Teen singers Aly and Aj (who the hell are these chicks?) have teamed up with the creators of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games to produce "Aly and Aj's girly guitars" so girls can rock out while playing Guitar Hero/Rock Band just as much as the boys can! I can't tell you how many times during the day I stop to curse my laptop because it doesn't have a nail file on the space bar. Nor does it sprtiz my office with a refreshing mint spray when I click the S key. (I know, right!?)
Before learning about the Petticoat 5 I was perfectly happy with my cute, little red Samsung. However, now, I am completely unsatisfied.

Great News, everyone!
If you're a man in the tech industry and you believe that women should be at home making babies and roast dinners, then you're more than likely completely unconcerned with the current "financial crisis".
A study out of the University of Florida conducted by scientists Timothy Judge and Beth Livingston has found that men with sexist attitudes get paid more. Their study lasted ...

Kriss Bliss, who was ignorant to all things gamer until falling in love with one, discusses what happens when the geek-challenged shacks up with the ultimate gamer.
Here’s another installment of The Gamer Girlfriend, and a timely one at that: my gamer boyfriend and his buddy are but 10 feet away gleefully creating a new accounts for Warhammer: The Age of Reckoning (WAR). Which brings me today’s sad, sad topic: the G...
