Following in the great tradition of Housing Maps, a Craigslist housing mashup that lets you search for apartments efficiently, comes another Google Maps and Craigslist mashup: he cleverly titled HookUpMaps.
You can search for the closest slutty people posting for sex in a number of limited cities (San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York are among them. San Diego, Maryland and Virginia are also included.) Hookups are all about convenience, and it doesn't get any more convenient than finding a quick and dirty romp closest to your house.
In San Francisco, the highest number of posted ads, is in the Castro, with 1037 posted ads in Casual Encounters. In New York, the highest number of ads is in the Upper West Side, with 1525 posted ads. Something about money must make you horny!
Since it's a mashup, hook up maps doesn't do much besides provide a link between the maps and the personal ads. If you want to respond to the ad, you still have to use Craigslist. This service will probably only be really useful to very dedicated CE users who want the most efficient booty call they can muster. The rest of us will have to go to CE "everyone in a while" and save it for drunken perusal before we go to sleep.
