After trying to convince myself that I was a purist and enjoyed a more simple, straightforward cinema experience, I have finally admitted to myself that I actually really love 3D films. So much, in fact, that when I went and saw Harry Potter last weekend, I was disappointed that I had only purchased the standard 3D glasses, and not the special, limited edition 3D glasses, shapped like Harry's iconic spectacles. (Serioulsy. How cool are they!?)
The biggest complaint I have about going to see 3D films are the glasses. Some theatres have amazingly comfortable ones that almost look like geeked-out Ray-Bans, where others seem to think 3D is the same as Virtual Reality and that you therefore need a heavy duty pair of 3D glasses that are so large they very well may have a moon orbiting around them somewhere.
Thankfully, LG seem to have solved this problem by teaming up with the fabulous fashion designer Giles Deacon to create a stylish, non-embarassing pair of 3D glasses that look increadibly comfortable. The super cute Giles for LG 3D glasses are bold and colourful, bringing a nice balance to LG's products which, while sexy, are usually associated with the classic gadget colours of black, white and chrome.

Just think of how cool you'd look at the next 3D film you go to see with your friends. "Oh, no thanks guys, I don't need any 3D glasses. I have my own. And they're designer, darling." (And by "cool" I mean "a complete and total nerd, with style".)
The Giles for LG 3D glasses are available exclusively at Selfridges on Oxford Street in London, at £29.99 a pop.
