Five Fantastic Laptop Cases

By Becca Caddy

Being interested in all things tech doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your sense of style or creativity. The internet is bursting with innovative and talented designers who keep bringing clever, colourful and cool accessories into our lives.

I’ve collected together a few of my favourite cases to house all of your essential electronic bits and pieces - from cutesy characters to vintage fabrics:

Pijama

Pijama (pictured above) is an Italian brand which makes scratchproof soft cases for a range of products, from laptops and digital cameras to vinyl records and the classic iPod. I love the fact that you can choose the size and fabric of your case directly from the website. My favourite is the pic-nic range of bright ginghams - all the fabrics remind me of tablecloths my grandma used to own!

Tod's

Now for something a little more luxury. High-end brand Tod’s will soon be bringing out a range of iPad cases – made from genuine alligator! I’m not endorsing using animal skin to wrap around your favourite apple accessories, but I hope there’s a faux version made of the electric blue case.

Cool Hunter

For those that like the dead animal look minus the dead animal, Cool Hunter is selling carry cases for your iPhone or Blackberry made of python-print Italian leather. There’s another electric blue style, this time with a bright pink trim.

Barry's Farm

This whimsical little number comes to us courtesy of Barry’s Farm, a quirky design website which creates a number of sickly sweet laptop accessories, featuring cupcakes, mice in love and unicorns.

Twelve South's BookBook

Finally, here’s something a little more unusual. For those that just can’t take the departure from a page to a screen, this may soften the blow…
