A couple weeks ago we had the pleasure of attending the London Bloggers Meetup, and had the fabulous opportunity to pick the brains of a few lovely London Bloggers. (And a couple of ex pat American Bloggers!)
If you have yet to make it down to one of the London Bloggers Meetups - it's a good time. It's not a schmoozy London media event, it really is just filled with people who are both professional bloggers, as well as people who would never even dream of putting an ad up on their bloggity.
What surprised me about this particular meet up was the high concentration of PR folks, however, these are PR folks who blog and are passionate about doing so. They weren't there passing out press releases written in 14 point Comic Sans with your name spelled wrong. (Or "Hiya ______ how is your blog ______ doing? I hope you are well." written at the top.)
As you may have heard, the lovely Melanie Seasons from Fake Plastic Noodles gave a talk about her experiences blogging in both the UK and the US and we got the chance to chat to her about her blog.
We also managed to pull Mitzi Szereto, Michael Litman and the founder of the London Bloggers Meetup, Andy Bargery, away from their drinks and pick their blogger brains a bit, as well!
