Unlike its counterparts, this little gem can charge up to 4 batteries (AA or AAA) in an hour flat, which means while you're down the gym jamming to Britney's Greatest Hits, you can have another 4 ready to go when you get back.
In fact, you don't even need to charge four at a time, or even two at a time, this is fairly uncommon in chargers until now, but means you can charge a single battery without needing to find a matching pair.
It's pretty good at telling you whats going on, too, if you're charging up a couple of batteries, it'll let you know as soon as one is done, and the same goes if one can't be charged, I much prefer that than waiting for an hour to find out that you've got a duff battery.
As well as these innovative features, it does come with some standard ones - trickle charge to keep the batteries topped up, International Voltage so it can travel with you on holiday and a shut off feature that wont let you overcharge your batteries.
