If you're a big gearhead, and think about biking day and night - Wired
has an awesome list of the top ten new bike gadgets. While I don't
actually even own a bike, I know plenty of ladies who do and will get a
kick out of these nifty new gadgets.
However, the two new products
that I do actually understand and find pretty damn cool are Dznuts and
Assos' new ss.lady jerseys.
Dznuts
From the name you can
pretty much guess that it protects a guy's nuts. Their slogans?
"protect your junk," "only the finest ingredients for your goods," and
"lube 'em or lose 'em". Nice, huh? While their slogans may seem a bit,
eh, ridiculous, Dznuts actually serves a useful purpose as it is
designed to "prevent chafing and infection on a man's most sensitive
parts, which can become rather friction-heavy during endurance rides".
Made from tea tree, evodia and masterwort - if you have a cycle-loving
boy in our life, I'm sure he and his nuts will greatly appreciate this
as a gift.
Assos' ss.lady Jerseys
These incredibly colorful biking jerseys look a thousand times better than those boring black or yellow jerseys that you're used to. They come with kangaroo pockets, and an MP3 pocket, and in seven different colors, including the three pictured above: Piton, Struzzobaby and Fidji. (Nope, I've never heard of them either.)
